For the last 27 years I've read three or four fat books a week...nonfiction, academic books (I have not read one novel in my whole adult life)...and I have usually even read the footnotes, even when all they say is "ibid." Well, honestly, im a nice guy, but i tell ya, my life can be somewhat dramatic. There's really no good way to lead into it. My past, I did so many great things, with great people. I had so many good times with my family, and so many with my friends, and life couldnt be much better... Except my need to be doings something all the time :)

See, OK i am really really selective about the people that come into my life. there are things about me, you will never find, no matter where you go. I have a lot of love, and friendship, but with me, I kinda only hang with the ones that can really prove their trust to me. Im brandon. never really been on these before, but figured id give it a shot. Im taking a break from school to make some change in the world. Currently im trying to figure out if I want volunteer do a trip to Uganda, Africa and teach/mentor children, men, and women for 2 weeks or go to China and teach english to the kids there as an internship/volunteer job. I was born in arizona, and I want to get my degree in Sociology and maybe become a university professor in the future. Usually I work out about 5 or more times a week, but lately ive been preoccupied with various volunteer/community service projects.

i live in the nw burbs and share a house with my brother. i always microwave and set my alarm on prime numbers and i make better grilled cheese than anyone except for my grandma. i have given my grilled cheese recipe out on the radio, so i'm actually kind of famous. i won the spelling bee in 2nd and 7th grade, although i probably wouldn't win one now. if you can beat me at mini-golf i'll make out with you. warning: if you are a girl i will beat you in everything. especially driving! ;D i like to travel, usually the further the better and i prefer to be there a while so i can get the experience of living there. i have been to a chunk of western europe for fun, and canada, the philippines, england, australia and new zealand for work. although none of these hold a candle to some of the other places work has sent me, such as peoria, boise or little rock. if your shoe collection is "too large" i would consider ebaying it to finance a trip around the world. especially if i decide your collection is "too large for you to notice." it is kind of my take on "too big to fail" with this whole recession thing. hey, somebody's gotta make some sacrifices and tough choices. and that's you when your back is turned muhaha!

Happy and witty and kind? What's up with that? Certainly sounds more than a little generic, but I'm guessing it's true since the words came so fast. My life is pretty hectic now, working 2 or even 3 jobs sometimes while going to grad school, but I've found I can find time to do the things I really want to: socializing, reading, walking, cooking and sometimes getting out on the lake for rowing, canoeing or swimming.

I over-think. I'm colorblind. I'm pro-woman. I love listening to music that isn't as popular as it was 5 years prior. I don't claim to be anything more than an average human being. Maybe slightly above. I once had an existential crisis after watching "Contact" with Jodie Foster. Seriously. I once was attacked by a goose. Actually, I was attacked by several geese. They hiss. I enjoy my cereal soggy, and my Peeps stale. Cardigans and hoodies are my friends. I used to think I could accomplish anything. I still do.

Once upon a time I was spontaneous and crazy, my beautiful little girl (who I can not seem to get enough of) has turned me into more of a home body who likes to plan things (which makes it rather difficult to meet anyone new).

A little bit about me... I guess I would consider myself a bit of a fun-loving joker. I am very easily amused and pretty easy-going for the most part. I am impulsive and unnaturally impatient. I am overly analytical of every situation I am in! I am independent, idealistic, and intelligent. I am pragmatic and honest to a fault, often times tactless (I am working on that). I detest confrontation. I am optimistic and quick-witted. I have a tendency to be capricious and aloof. Truthfully, I am easy to please and love to laugh!!

What I am looking for is a strong, bold, impetuous guy who loves being around me regardless of what we do, where we go, or who we see.

I have a thirst for knowledge. I always seem to be learning something new. Right now I'm taking Brazilian Jiu Jitsu lessons. In addition to that I keep myself busy studying the stock market, doing minor home improvement projects, and when spring rolls around I'll be windsurfing. I've also been taking salsa lessons for awhile now so if you dance any salsa you score some big points with me!

I consider myself a confident person and proud of where I am in life. I'm always working on ways to improve myself, my life, and everything around me. Which is what brings me here. I've come close to settling down a couple of times, but for one reason or another things didn't work out. All of these experiences made me who I am today. So let's talk and see where it goes!

I'm not much of a writer and like to keep things simple. I sometimes get obsessive with making things perfect. If I'm standing at a counter somewhere and there's a rectangular object, I will put it in the corner to make it sit flush with the counter. I enjoy making hip-hop beats and play a little guitar.

I'm very friendly, easy to get along with, outgoing, but also laid back. I enjoy doing just about anything, indoors, outdoors, w/e. I enjoy all types of sports but specially soccer, football, and basketball. I always enjoy meeting new people and making new friends and having fun no matter what we're doing. I'm your standard suburban single father with three kids. I've been divorced for a few years now and am looking for someone to spend some time with when my kids aren't with me. I think I can be smart, funny and interesting...but never more than one of those on a given day. Wow do i hate these things, Let me give my arrogance warped opinion of myself.... I am active when i am not glued to the couch watching random history programming. I enjoy bicycles. I have a total obsession with cars, I have the perfect job to satisfy that obsession. I love my local dives as well as a good time out in the city. I go boating and get sunburned often. I hate silence for the most part. I'm thinking of buying another motorcycle.... Do you think i should? I never shop for clothes but somehow my closet is always full?! I am incredibly picky but easily pleased. I believe every day is new and past should be forgiven because it cant be changed. I am not a morning person but love to say good morning. I love to laugh and have fun with the person I'am with if its dinner or movies or dancing or where ever we go. Sometimes just taking a drive or walk and talking,or relaxing at home with a glass of wine is especially nice. Would love to meet a special person that enjoys my company and share lots of good times together.
